Frequently Asked Questions

What is Naturexx?

Isavela's compression garments are not the regular garments you can get anywhere else; instead they are especially made with Naturexx fabric. Naturexx is a moisture management system, it contains similar properties as "Dri-Fit" to keep you cool and dry for long periods of time. It removes moisture, preventing bacterial production during use. Bacterial removal properties are essential during recovery from plastic surgery as open wounds are prone to bacteria production.

Benefits of Naturexx Fabric:

  • moisture management; evaporates body moisture
  • flushes out potentially harmful bodily fluids
  • dissipates body heat build-up
  • keeps the wearer cool and dry
  • lowers the risk of irritation and rashes
  • reduces bleeding and swelling
  • accelerates the healing process
  • comfortable and soft to wear

Why do I need to wear a compression garment after surgery?

Compression garments are essential for blood circulation, reduction of swelling, ridding the body of harmful fluid, and accelerating the healing process.

Why can't I just purchase some exercisewear?

Ill fitting or ill designed garments may cause increased risk of seromas, lymphedema, lumpy or uneven skin composition, exaggerated or red scars, or necrosis.

What are the garments made of?

76% elastic yarn (Naturexx) and 24% spandex. The highest quality zippers, hook and eye closures, and threads are used. 100% latex free, with an Anti-Microbial finish.
